On Lake Como, where and when you take your photos matters just as much as the location itself.
A villa can look completely different at 11 AM and 5 PM. Two beautiful locations might be impossible to combine without losing an hour in transfers. A boat departure that seems convenient can take you away from the best light. And some of the most famous photo spots require advance reservations or permits.
You don’t need to figure any of this out yourself.

1. Getting to Know Each Other
Before anything else, let’s get to know each other. We’ll meet online or in person if possible to talk about your wedding, your vision and what matters most to you. Just as importantly, it’s a chance to see if we’re the right fit. I believe the best wedding photographs begin with genuine trust and a connection that feels natural.
2. Planning Together
Once you’ve decided to book, I’ll send you a detailed wedding questionnaire to learn more about your story, your priorities and every important detail of your day. This helps me create a photography experience that’s personal to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
3. Timeline Consultation
When your wedding timeline starts coming together, we’ll schedule another online meeting to go through everything together. We’ll plan the photography schedule, discuss family photos, portrait timing, sunset, travel between locations and any special moments you don’t want to miss, so you’ll know exactly what to expect on the day.
4. Your Wedding Day
This is where you can simply enjoy every moment. I’ll guide you whenever you need me, step back when the moments unfold naturally and capture your day as it happens without making it feel like an all-day photoshoot. My goal is for you to be fully present with your family and friends while I preserve the memories you’ll treasure forever.
5. Your Memories
Within a few days you’ll receive a beautiful preview gallery to relive the excitement and share with your loved ones. Your full gallery will then be carefully edited and delivered through a private online gallery, ready to download, share and enjoy for years to come.

I’ve photographed 150+ couples, many of them travelling to Italy from abroad for one of the biggest moments of their lives.
So I understand that choosing a photographer here isn’t only about finding photographs you love.

CAN YOU HELP US PLAN WHERE TO TAKE OUR PHOTOS?
Absolutely! Photoshoot planning is included with every elopement collection. You can send me your venue, hotel, Pinterest board or inspiration photos, and I’ll recommend specific Lake Como locations based on the look you want, the season, available light and your itinerary.
We’ll also make sure the locations actually work together logistically, not just look beautiful individually.
HOW MUCH DOES LAKE COMO ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY COST?
My Lake Como elopement photography collections start at €1,200 for 4 hours.
4 hours — €1,200
Perfect for a first look, ceremony, couple portraits at your venue and a private boat.
5 hours — €1,500
Ideal if you’d also like getting-ready photos, an additional photo location or simply a more relaxed timeline.
6 hours — €1,800
The most flexible option for elopements with family and friends, multiple locations and time to finish the day with cake, prosecco or aperitivo. Drone photography is included with 6-hour coverage, where legally permitted and weather conditions allow.

Yes. We’ll build your photography timeline together. I’ll help you decide when photography should start, the best time for your ceremony and portraits, how long we need at each location and where a private boat fits into the day.
We’ll take into account the season, light, temperature, villa access, crowds and realistic transfer times around Lake Como. The goal is to have enough time for beautiful photographs without turning your elopement into one long photoshoot.

HOW MANY HOURS OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO WE NEED?
For most Lake Como elopements, 4–6 hours works beautifully.
Four hours can comfortably cover a first look, ceremony, portraits at your venue and private boat.
Five hours gives us more flexibility for getting ready, another photography location or a slower pace.
Six hours works particularly well if you’re celebrating with family and friends, want several parts of the day documented or would like to finish with cake, prosecco or aperitivo.
Once I know your plans, I’ll tell you honestly how much coverage I think you need.
CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS AT MORE THAN ONE LOCATION?
Yes — as long as the locations make sense together. Lake Como can be deceptive on a map. Moving between towns by car, ferry or boat can take much longer than expected, particularly during high season.
Rather than trying to squeeze as many locations as possible into your coverage, I’ll help you choose a combination that gives you different looks without spending your wedding day in transit.
CAN WE INCLUDE A PRIVATE BOAT?
Absolutely — and it’s one of my favorite ways to photograph a Lake Como elopement.
A private boat gives us completely different views of the lake, villas and mountains while also giving you some time to relax together after the ceremony.
I’ll help you decide when to schedule the boat, where it should depart from and how long you need, and can share contacts for trusted local boat companies.
Boat rental is booked and paid separately from photography.
DO WE NEED PERMISSION TO TAKE PHOTOS AT LAKE COMO VILLAS?
It depends on the location. Many of Lake Como’s private villas and gardens require advance booking, entrance fees or specific photography permission. Their rules and fees vary by venue. If you tell me where you’d like to photograph, I’ll help you understand what needs to be arranged.
Venue entrance, rental and photography permit fees are not included in my photography collections unless specifically stated.
WILL YOU HELP US WITH POSING?
Of course. Most of my couples aren’t models and don’t arrive knowing what to do in front of a camera. During portraits, I’ll guide you with posing, movement, positioning and light so you feel comfortable and know what to do. But I won’t direct every second of your wedding day. When real moments are happening, I’ll step back and document them naturally.
That’s how we get both editorial portraits and candid moments in the same gallery.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
You will receive at least 50 professionally edited, high-resolution photographs for every hour of photography.
That means approximately:
2 hours — 100+ photographs
4 hours — 200+ photographs
6 hours — 300+ photographs
Your photographs are delivered through a private online gallery in high resolution.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
You’ll receive a preview within 2 business days, so you have photographs to enjoy and share shortly after your elopement.
The complete gallery is delivered within 7 business days.
IS DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY AVAILABLE?
Yes. Drone photography can be added to the 2- and 4-hour collections for €300 and is included with the 6-hour The Experience package. Drone photography is always subject to weather conditions, local regulations and flight restrictions at the location on the day.
CAN WE HAVE GUESTS AT OUR ELOPEMENT?
Absolutely. Your Lake Como elopement doesn’t have to be just the two of you. I photograph both private two-person elopements and intimate celebrations with your closest family and friends.
If guests are joining you, I usually recommend considering 6-hour coverage, as it gives us more time for family photographs, candid moments and the celebration without taking time away from your couple portraits.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Lake Como weather can change quickly, particularly around the mountains. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast before your elopement and adjust the photography timeline where possible.
Clouds and light rain don’t mean bad photographs — and many Lake Como villas have beautiful covered areas that give us options even if the weather changes.
For more significant weather, we’ll discuss the best realistic solution based on your venue, bookings and my availability.
